Becca's Miracle

Today is our last day in where ever we are. It's a free day and we're going to the markets and to a waterfall. No worries mom no cliff diving today.

Yesterday was our last church service in this area and our team did a couple dramas and dances. Before the service my friend Becca had chills and her forehead was burning up. Our thermometer wasn't working so we asked for a cloth to wet and place on her forehead to break the fever. She was sore too and it was probably one of the worst places to be when you have a fever it's loud and everything is in Spanish and we have been sleeping on the floors there so she didn't have a bed to relax in. We had her lay on a mat off to the side while the service was going on. Not to mention it was pouring rain. So the woman gave us her little girls shirt to use to break the fever. I prayed during the service for her and a couple members from the team prayed for her.

I kept thinking of the passage:

"And when Jesus entered Peter's house he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and began to serve him."
-Mathew 8:14-15

We didn't have to give her any medicine because after the service she had no fever and the soreness was completely gone. Usually a fever spikes at night but she had no fever and today you wouldn't be able to tell that yesterday she was curled up on a mat on the floor sore and with a fever.

Sickness is not from God, He is a God of healing and love. Praise Him for all his wonders!
